Came here for dinner late one evening a while ago. I like this place. It's very nice. We ate at a table near the bar. Easy parking too. Great service. I had the chimichurri steak frites. Very good. I'd come back here again.

I was so excited to find a French Dip sandwich on the menu at Nomad Eatery. It's rare to find and when I do I will order it. The steak was well cooked and high quality, and the bread was freshly baked. I asked for extra jus which was flavorful. They we nice to substitute a salad in place of fries. Service was great. Ambiance right now isn't great as the patio is under renovation but it'll be great once the work is done.

Delicious food Great customer service Great ambiance Had a good time First time here definitely will be back soon

I love the concept of this restaurant. The menu choices are varied without being too eclectic. It's nice and spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. Service is great. Most importantly, the food is excellent. Easy and free parking too which is always a bonus.

LOVE this place and LOVE the owner/chef, Scott Cooper, who knows his way around a kitchen - and has re-invented one of our FAVE South Bay staples (Jackson's) after the pandemic - and we are SO glad to see they made it through. We began our evening with their flavorful and spicy hummus, with handmade, fresh/hot from the oven, wonderfully soft flatbread. We also got the coconut encrusted jumbo shrimp - juicy, tender, perfect texture and the chutney it came with was as YUMMY as the shrimp! Thoroughly enjoyed the Filet Mignon Lomo Saltado - and BOY, were we happy with our choice! The meat was perfectly cooked and tasted wonderful - the green sauce (peruvian aji verde) was JUST the right amount of spicy, and the fries that are with it - I have NO idea what they do to them, but they are so good...garlic? onions? and just right on the crispiness. Hubby got the Steak chimichurri frites - and it was as tender as my filet mignon. Everything was so flavorful and nothing overpowered anything else - the flavors all came together amazingly well. We finished off the evening with the chocolate souffle - it takes a long time to come out SO ORDER EARLY BECAUSE IT IS SOOOO WORTH THE WAIT! Love the enclosed patio area that still makes you feel like you're outside though, technically you're not. If you're looking for an amazing, independently-owned restaurant who's quality, fresh food and unique take on dishes will stun you, but NOT your bank account, then look no further than Nomad Eatery. You will be happy you tried it, and your tastebuds will thank you! I ONLY REGRET I DIDN'T TAKE PHOTOS!!!

This place is pretty great. It's located within some sort of living space with "suites" but unclear if it's a hotel or not. The place feels modern with an outdoor patio, greenery, and wooden studs supporting the frame. The service was good. Timely with water and food. Not much else to say. I was here for the dinela event and so I ordered the scallop crudo as an appetizer, the filet mignon lomo saltado entree, and the creme brulee dessert. The scallop appetizer was excellent with a spicy green salsa and jalapeño slice that complimented the fresh scallop, mint, and cucumber. The avocado didn't pack too much of a punch, but the combination of spicy with a bit of refreshing minty scallop was excellent. The filet mignon lomo saltado was great too. The steak was very tender and the sauce seeped into the rice well. The fries were crispy as slightly damp fries could be and the onion and tomato mixture was good. The only qualm I have is that the flavor profile comes off a bit salty. A little more kick of lime or mint would freshen it up nicely. The creme brulee is a standard one with a nice crispy top with berries and mint. No notes, this is just delicious since I'm biased towards dessert. Fruit and mint accompany the sugary innards of the brulee well. A fantastic experience all in all. Something worth checking out if you're in the area.

I had the Shrimp Papaya Salad as an entree and it was a bit much to eat all by myself. Definitely recommend doing it as a shared plate unless you LOOOOVE papaya salad. We got the cauliflower and hummus appetizers to share and it was amazing. My coworker told me that they are great for happy hour. They have plenty of parking especially now that the Beach Cities Arclight close down. RIP that movie theater. :') Ambiance is quiet and nice for lunch! It was great for a lunch where you want to hear what your companion is saying.
